This patient presented with large, aging silver (amalgam) fillings that were beginning to compromise the structural integrity of the molars. We replaced these with custom-fitted dental onlays. Unlike a standard filling, an onlay provides superior strength and coverage for the tooth’s chewing surface, bonded precisely to match the natural shade and anatomy of the surrounding enamel.
