Dr. Grant Talbert
Dr. Grant Talbert started Talbert Family Dentistry in May 2022 with a clear vision: to create a practice where high-energy teamwork and genuine care transform smiles and lives. After graduating from Birmingham Southern College in 2014 with a biology major and chemistry minor, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry in 2018.
A Passion for Life-Changing Dentistry
What inspired Dr. Talbert to pursue dentistry was witnessing how transformative dental care could be. He watched friends and family members gain new confidence and joy simply from improving their smiles, and he knew he wanted to create those life-changing moments for others. This passion for smile transformation naturally led him toward cosmetic dentistry, where he can combine technical precision with artistic vision to help patients rediscover their confidence.

When he's not creating confident smiles, Dr. Talbert finds his happy place on the water. He's also passionate about hunting, fishing, and working out, and he's a huge music fan.
Bevin
Dental Hygienist
Bevin joined our team in November 2022. She began her career in 2011, and while working as a dental assistant, she discovered her passion for dental hygiene. Bevin graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham's dental hygiene program in 2017. Her devotion to patient care and her energetic spirit give patients a unique experience at their hygiene visits.
When she's not helping patients achieve their healthiest smiles, Bevin enjoys reading and tending to her flower garden. She has a unique passion for puzzles and, as a devoted mom, captures at least one photo of her children every day.
Alison
Dental Hygienist
Alison began her dental career in high school. She started with a job in a dental lab and later went on to further her career by attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she earned her dental hygiene education. She joined our team in 2024 after working as a fill-in at various offices in town. Her experience with dentistry in a variety of environments brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her craft.
Outside of work, Alison enjoys camping, paddleboarding, and hiking, but her most thrilling experiences include skydiving, motor paragliding, and hang gliding.
Hallie
Dental Hygienist
Hallie has been at Talbert Family Dentistry since 2024. She graduated from Wallace State Community College with her dental hygiene degree in 2020. Her compassion and attention to detail ensure that patients receive the best dental care available. She is passionate about patient education and helping them have a positive experience at the dental office.
Outside of the office, Hallie enjoys hunting for a good thrift find, grabbing a sweet treat with a friend, and trying out new crafts.
Ashley
Dental Assistant and Hygienist
Ashley has worked in dentistry since 2012 and brings a unique blend of clinical skills to our practice. A University of Alabama at Birmingham graduate with a degree in dental hygiene later turned assistant, she has a comprehensive understanding of oral health that enhances every aspect of patient care. Ashley's role extends beyond traditional assisting to managing all of our advanced 3D design work and printing. She has assisted Dr. Talbert since 2020, and together they work to create truly transformative experiences for their patients.
When she's not creating beautiful smiles, you'll find her bow hunting, off-roading in her Jeep, or enjoying time boating down the river. At home, she loves gardening and raising chickens with her husband and daughter.
Bekah
Dental Assistant, Front Desk
Bekah joined Talbert Family Dentistry in 2023 and is an essential part of our team. With her training from Calhoun Community College and valuable on-the-job experience, she moves between chairside assisting Dr. Talbert and managing front desk responsibilities. Whether she's helping navigate insurance questions at the front desk or assisting with procedures that transform smiles, Bekah understands that every interaction shapes the patient experience.
When she's not helping create confident smiles at the practice, Bekah loves spending time at the lake or catching live concerts with friends.
Beka
Treatment Coordinator
Beka brings six years of dental experience to her role as our treatment coordinator. She completed her dental assisting education and licensure at Northeast Iowa Community College in 2018. After working chairside for a few years, her focus shifted to treatment coordinating and insurance operations. She joined the Talbert Family Dentistry team in 2022. Beka is passionate about turning what can often be confusing financial information into clear, understandable plans for patients so that their dental care feels more inviting instead of intimidating.
When she's not helping patients, Beka enjoys reading, gardening with her husband, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, and going on walks with her fam
Alecia
Insurance and Billing Coordinator
Alecia joined our team in December 2022. She handles the essential behind-the-scenes work that keeps our practice running smoothly—posting insurance and patient payments, managing monthly statements, and working with insurance companies to make sure claims are properly processed. Her expertise in navigating insurance complexities allows the clinical team to focus on patient care while ensuring our patients' financial experiences are handled efficiently and professionally.
Outside of work, Alecia enjoys traveling to new destinations, getting lost in a good book, and exploring different restaurants.
