How long does a full smile makeover take?

Your timeline is unique and depends on which treatments you need, the complexity of your case, and how we sequence your treatments. Dr. Talbert will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that considers your goals, schedule, and desired outcome.

Smile Makeover Treatment Times

  • Clear Aligners (Longest Timeline) — If your makeover includes Invisalign or clear aligner treatment, this typically takes 12 to 18 months, though some minor corrections can be completed in as little as six months. Orthodontic movement is usually the first step in a smile makeover when needed.
  • Multiple Veneers or Crowns — Crowns and veneers typically require two to four weeks to complete; however, total treatment time from preparation to placement may be as little as one day if we fabricate your restoration in-house.
  • Combination Treatments — Most smile makeovers involving multiple services (whitening, bonding, and restorations) can be completed in four to eight weeks, depending on the complexity and number of teeth involved.
  • Professional Whitening — KöR whitening typically takes two to four weeks and is often the first step in the treatment plan to establish the desired tooth color before other restorative work begins.
